It’s been a month since Ayushmann Khurrana’s gave his latest hit Dream Girl. The movie emerged out to be one of the best movies of Ayushmann’s career. Not only it was his biggest movie but it also became the highest grosser in his Bollywood career.
The movie collected a total of Rs 139.70 crore. The film has surpassed one of Ayushmann’s biggest hit Badhaai Ho.
Badhaai Ho released last year and collected a total of 135.95 crores at the box office by the seventh week of its release. It was the biggest hit of Ayushmann’s career until Dream Girl got released.

Trade analyst Taran Adarsh made the announcement through his twitter account by tweeting the latest box office numbers of Dream Girl, which released on September 13. In five weeks, the movie managed to earn a total of Rs 139.70 crore in India.
About Dream Girl
Dream Girl is a story of a man named Karanvir Singh who can mimic a woman’s voice. His father Jagjeet is debt-ridden. To help his father pay the debt, Karanvir decides to work and gets a job as a tele-caller.
Here he chats with strangers over the phone in his feminine voice and under a false name-Pooja. Impressed by his voice, many fell in her love. Nushrat Barucha plays his love interest in the movie.
The movie was directed by Raaj Shaandilyaa, the film received many mixed reviews after it got released. But its long run at the box office definitely proved that the movie was worth watching and that Ayushmann Khurrana has a great set of audience.
It was also the biggest opener of Ayushmann’s career, earning a whopping amount of Rs 10.05 crore on its very first day, beating Badhaai Ho, which opened up at Rs 7.35 crore.
