A start of twitter war between Owaisi and Himanta Biswa.

“If India does not protect Hindus, then who will protect them? Pakistan?”

“India should protect all Indians, not Hindus…”

He also added,

“The Hindu refugees who should have been and are not in the NRC list, the Assam government will help them through the Foreign Tribunal and the Citizenship Amendment Bill.”

The war began when Asaduddin Owaisi shared the video of this TV debate, tweeting,

“It is absolutely clear that in NRM, an attempt is being made to remove Muslims through NRC. Now Himanta Biswa Sarma is saying that Hindus, whatever they may be will be save.”
